likesVerve in the City (basement restaurant / bar)Verve is a cafe/restaurant and bar in Edward St (botanical gardens end) which is in a basement with exposed brick walls, very ambient and great food. Very reasonably priced - very groovy, with a little bit of grungy finish.... -

likesSomething different at Wellington Point???I have just returned from a walk with another 'coffee lover' who introduced me to a hidden gem which is a bit different.... A home bake cake shop, 'BITTeR SWeet' at Wellington Point. This shop has such lovely selections.... -

likesBrekky....I also thought brekky might be a good idea - always a nice thing to combine coffee with brekky. The Gun Shop Cafe in West End has raving reviews - I would love to see if this place lives up to its name....
